School authorities also need to know how students will be supervised, how large groups will move through activities, what happens during an emergency, how food and hygiene are managed, and whether teachers will spend the entire day controlling students.

School Picnic at Purna River Retreat — At a Glance
Group Management: Students are divided into manageable batches of approximately 25–30.
Dedicated Supervision: An instructor is assigned to guide each batch through the planned day.
Activity Supervision: Additional instructors are positioned at activity zones.
Structured Rotations: Students move through activities according to a planned rotation instead of being left to roam freely.
Food: Breakfast, lunch and high tea/snacks are served as part of the school picnic program, with Jain and Swaminarayan requirements supported.
Water Activities: Boating and raft-balancing areas are approximately 3 feet deep, with instructor supervision at the activity zones.
Medical Preparedness: First-aid arrangements and CPR-trained personnel are available. A clinic is approximately 5 minutes away and a multispeciality hospital approximately 20 minutes away.
School Recce: Principals, trustees and authorised school representatives are welcome to inspect the venue before confirming their picnic.
